Odawa...a thriving and resilient community. Enhancing the quality of life of Indigenous peoples living in the Ottawa area

Announcements

Miigwetch and thank everyone who attended Odawa’s 50th Anniversary Powwow.

It was a wonderful weekend with so much colour and beautiful moments. So much so we want to create a commemorative photo book of the event. We already have some amazing photographs from our incredibly talented photographer Tracey (@traceylynnephotography), but if you have any photos that you would like to be considered for the book, please email your ‘High Resolution’ shots to reception@odawa.on.ca.

Even if you don’t have any photos to share but are interested in the book, please email us and we’ll let you know when the book is ready.

What a wonderful reminder of an amazing time and an amazing community.

Thank you again — and Miigwetch for making this celebration one to remember.

Community Night

Dear Members of Odawa, we are happy to announce that Community Night has returned for active participants. This will take place on Wednesday Evenings in the Cafeteria starting at 5:00 p.m. This is open to all registered members of Odawa.

Our Mission

To enhance the quality of life for Indigenous people in the Capital Region. To maintain a tradition of community, an ethic of self-help and development as well as to provide traditional teachings from our elders. These are important values we will continue to reinforce and promote in the coming years.

Thank you to our funders and sponsors
